Key Skill: Shield
Originally created by the top military leaders of the Remnant during the Great War to guard the temples in The Hallows, the templar dedicated themselves to the study of military strategy, battlefield control, and tactical defense. The strong sense of honor and heroism cultivated in templar training eventually turned the tide of the war as they stepped out from merely guarding to leading their Remnant brethren into the breaches of Zoarchian defenses. Now the templar comprise the core of Remnant military, often with a single Templar leading a cadre of channellers. Trained from youth to see themselves as the last line of defense for their people and gods, the templar instill valor of spirit, studied tactics, and defensive combat training into each of their recruits. Able to bring out the best in their teammates, maintain compose in the most dire of circumstances, and take a beating that would level anyone else, the templar add incalculable advantage to any conflict they step boldly into.
